In order to prevent unwanted callers over the halloween period, the police have produced an A5 orange poster which people can attch to their front doors, saying " sorrry, no trick, no treat, no thanks".

These posters can be down loaded fron the police website

Please pass this information onto your members and anyone who may keep an eye on the elderly/vulnerable members of our community.

SPECIAL COMMUNITY MESSAGES


The Village Hall (built by local people in 1995/96) is available for private hire. It offers a range of facilities including stage, bar & fully equipped kitchen, seating for 150 and carparking for 50 cars. New committee members are always welcome.

 The Senior Citizens Luncheon Club is held the first Thursday of the month at the Village Hall.

 Jumble Sales are held in April & October – please save things to donate and come along to the Village Hall.

 A Grand Plant Sale is held in May at the Village Hall.

 The Village Badminton Club meets at 8pm on Monday at the Village Hall – just turn up. 

 The Rattery Garden Show & Sports Committee stage an annual Garden Show & Sports on the 1st Saturday in August where young and old can celebrate their first fruits and other skills and where everyone can have a run in the races. Schedules available from the Post Office – New Committee members welcome – Mrs A Samuel 01364 643741.

 Ladies Night is held in the Church House Inn Pub on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month.
